Vintage Schreiner Rhinestone Dome Brooch (Missing Stones)

This piece matches ones online described as unsigned Schreiner designs, and is consistent with the Schreiner style with its domed, layered construction, the use of multiple layers of contrasting colored rhinestones, and hook and eye construction visible on the back. HOWEVER ours is missing several stones, hence we are offering it for only $ 5 with other purchase in the hopes that a hobby collector might find some joy in it or a jewelry designer might want to take it apart to see how it was built. (A perfect piece recently sold on EBay for $ 295.)
 
This was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We have no idea when or where it was purchased.
