Vintage Snake Chain Gold Tone Tube Choker Necklace 15”

This unmarked lightweight intriguing piece features gold tone metal links in a half inch diameter tube with clip on clasp. It was found in our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We do not believe it is made of valuable metal. We do not know where or when she might have bought it.
 
It is in good condition but appears to have a few discolored or slightly dislocated links. When we inspected the areas however they felt smooth and straightened out.
