Vintage Solid Brass Serving Scoop Spoons (Set of 2)

This heavy solid brass set of long scoop-like spoons with sold brass handles with a curve at the end were used as serving utensils by our grandmother. They have no maker’s  mark or other identification to suggest where and when she acquired them or even what they actually are…
 
We were unable to find anything like them online. It was suggested these are antique brass scoops, used for ice, flour, and other dry goods. It was also suggested these were used as serving spoons for soft foods, such as mashed potatoes. We trust a buyer will find their own perfect use for this pair.
 
They are vintage, or antique, and show the color and patina of aged brass. They also have signs of use, small scratches here and there. Overall however they are in very good vintage condition, no dents or notches visible to our eyes.
