Vintage Striped Apron in 1970s Hues

We were unable to identify how old this piece is, no labels inside and no matches found online. We know it predates the 1970s however as we remember our mother wearing it at that time. 
 
It does have some very faint stains and two slight runs in the thread as shown in photos, visible only when looking very closely. Otherwise it is in surprisingly good condition.
 
Approx. 28” long from neck to bottom hem.
