Vintage Swiss Hans Huggler-Wyss Folk Art Carved Wood Woman, 5" Tall

 
This collectible piece is unsigned but it matches the work of Swiss artist Hans Huggler-Wyss (1877-1947), his many similar pieces going for $ 30-60 each on average. 
 
This skillfully carved wood figurine depicts a peasant woman in tied back scarf with black top and red-white-blue striped skirt holding  a polka dotted jug. The paint is very subtle, or light. There is some penciled writing on her feet, which we assume were prices… Her expression is a sly smile, read into it what you wish…
 
There is no visible damage to this piece but for some miniscule stained cracks above her right eye which may have been a fault of the wood used.
