Vintage Thai Bamboo Flute Pipe

This traditional Thai woodwind musical instrument is made of bamboo with a wood machine head and riser with 8 open hole keys on one side, two on the other. It is suitable for beginners, does not require pitching, is lightweight and easily portable.
 
We believe it was purchased by our mother in Thailand in the 1970s. It is in very good vintage condition. It still makes sound. We apologize for being unable to video it being played as we are not musicians ourselves and have no idea how to play it properly!
 
Note: It did have some old transparent tape attached to it. We think we removed it all but if a buyer finds some, we promise we tried to get it all.
