Vintage Thai Temple Rubbing on Saa Paper (Large): 7 Blue Elephants (23.5” x 37”)

 
We believe this dark royal blue charcoal temple rubbing on handmade saa (mulberry) paper is taken from a temple wall in Thailand. It features seven elephants in ceremonial attire. 
 
This is one of several our mother probably purchased while in Thailand although what year these might have been created is unknown.
 
This piece is in excellent condition. We believe it has been rolled up for decades, never taken out of the roll until now.
