Vintage Tibetan Silver Turquoise Red Coral ‘Inner Calm’ Necklace 19”

Handmade in Nepal by Tibetan artisans, necklaces like these reportedly help align all chakras, the turquoise instilling inner calm and coral contributing to connecting with nature and love, inner peace, strength, and understanding of purpose. 
 
This particular necklace features an unmarked Tibetan silver backed pendant with 13 red coral beads with a turquoise stone mounted above them. (Vintage Tibetan silver is not 925 sterling quality, rather, usually a silver copper alloy.) The pendant design is inspired by traditional prayer box pendants called gau or ghau. This one does not open or have a cavity in which to place objects however. Mounted above the pendant are two interesting handcrafted brass, coral, and turquoise prayer beads, or Buddha beads as some refer to them online. The rest of the necklace features a variety of stones and what we believe are silver tone beads.
 
We believe our mother picked this up during her time living in Nepal in 1966-1967. 
 
The necklace is in good condition but for one thing: The pendant is missing a silver spacer between two red coral beads to the left of center top. We do not know if that is how it came, ie. intentional, or not.
