Vintage Tightly Beaded Unmarked Rajasthani Silver Bangles (Set of 3), 7.5"
This beautiful set of bangles came from our grandmother’s vintage jewelry collection. We believe they are from Rajasthan, India, and threaded the traditional village way on cotton rope, as they all have some flexibility. Our grandmother visited India in 1935 and picked up several pieces of exquisitely handcrafted, sometimes quirky, jewelry.
These are in excellent condition with a nice patina. Some of the beads have soldering marks, which we understand is common, most beads added with the soldering marks underneath. These tested positive for silver using an acid test.
This is priced based on the cost of silver.
Circumference inside 7 1/2”
Two are approx. 2.5 oz, one 3.0 oz
