Vintage Unmarked Silver Chinese Pottery Shard Circle Pendant, 1930s

Our online research suggests the silver is sterling but unmarked, which was later confirmed with a home acid test. We believe the piece dates back to the 1930s, which is when our grandmother travelled to China with her aunts, the Burr sisters. This appears to have been kept in her jewelry box as a memento of her travels. The silver encasing has a dark patina, and the shard may have some dirt on the left side near the rim.
