Vintage Wood Carved Eagle Headed Walking Stick (Imperfect), 3’ Tall
With a hand carved eagle as the handle, this walking stick is made of strong hardwood, possibly Indian Rosewood or pine, probably with a waterproof finish. The end of the eagle’s tail is missing however, and the base of the cane appears to be missing a cap, possibly a rubber cap, to protect floors from the hard screw sticking out from the end of the wood. See photos.
We believe this is from the early 1900s, possibly belonging to a member of our grandmother’s family.
H 3 feet, handle grip 3 1/2” wide
